Simple Christmas Decorations For Those Lacking In Time
One of the most common excuses for the lack of Christmas decorations is simply the lack of time. With 40 hour workweeks, children, school programs and tending to everyday running of the family there is little time to think about crafting for the holidays. Granted, many Christmas decorations and crafts take hours and even days upon end. This makes it nearly impossible for the average person to have the time to engage in these decorations. But, never fear hope and help is on the way! There are crafts that can be completed in as little as 30 minutes, look great and provide a wonderful look for Christmas time. So instead of curling up in front of that television show, breakout the craft box and get busy. Christmas is right around the corner and it is time to think about making some great Christmas crafts.
Do you remember that old glass candle holder that is put away on the shelf? Grab it for your next holiday crafting project, it makes a wonderful holder and beautiful decoration. Now that that is out of the way take some of the Christmas ball ornaments that are brightly colored and simply drop them in to a large glass candle holder. This is an automatic decoration that took less than 10 minutes. If you really want to get creative you can purchase ornaments and paint them or dress them up in some other manner before displaying them. If time allows the customization of these ornaments can really make a great centerpiece that matches the décor of the home or room in which they are placed.
These glass containers, dishes or candle holders can also be filled with other items such as candy, Christmas potpourri or other festive looking things. Candy canes can even be home from the edge of the glass container making a colorful and add a bull decoration for those little ones that presents at family gets gathers. Taking a flat dish or flat candle holder and placing stick candles are small candle holders can make a great decoration as well. Other items can then be placed on the plates or candle tray such as Christmas tree ornaments, paper cut-outs or anything that has a hint of festivity or Christmas time. Other items that can be placed on the dish are glass star holders, Christmas figurines, angels, reindeer are just about anything else that the person may like.
